Radio 4 children's magazine programme from the 1980s. Presenters included Richard Briers, Adrian Moorhouse, Julie First and Andy Crane. Episodes generally included one or two full-cast dramas including Tintin, The Castle Of Adventure, When The Siren Wailed (Starring Nicholas Courtney), Charlotte's Web, The Witch's Revenge; The House Of Arden (Starring Penelope Keith), The Magician's Nephew, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (starring Maurice Denholm) and Marlene Marlowe Investigates. Some episodes include stories read out by Victoria Wood, Brian Blessed, Bill Oddie and Willie Rushton amongst others. A couple of series also included celebrities as 'birthday guests'. There were also occasional 'Spamchester Mysteries' about Kitty Purrwell and Dick Dogsbody written by Lee Pressman and starring Timothy Spall.
