Warning:
Altering the list of MP3s may affect subscribers to the podcast. (Subscribers progress through the MP3s by their position alone, so adding a new file near the top, or swapping the position of two files, may cause a listener to receive the same episode twice.) The only safe way to add a new MP3 is to add it to the end of the list.

Long description:
Radio Comedy about a construction company building motorways in Britain in the early 1970s. Starring James Beck and Bill Pertwee, with Milo O'Shea, Richard Davies, Anthony Sagar and Richard Caldicot. The supporting cast includes Peter Stephens as a very camp Surveyor, and Amanda Murray as Gladys the canteen manageress. James Beck's character, a young and rather naive cockney lad named Steve, is led astray by his more experienced Irish and Welsh colleagues, 'Irish' O'Connell and 'Randy' Morris, who are forever on the fiddle. Steve lives in a caravan on the site with his mum, and is keen on Gladys the canteen manageress. Bill Pertwee's character, Reg Ponsonby, is the butt of the three main characters' jokes and schemes. An incompetent site foreman, he prefers to reminisce about his wartime experiences rather than get the job done. He usually ends up in bother with the two construction bosses, Hanson and Fairfax, as a result of the three lead characters trying to pull a fiddle. The series stars two of the Dad's Army core cast, and was made at the same time as Dad's Army. Irish: Milo O'Shea Randy: Richard Davies Steve: James Beck Mr Fairfax: Richard Caldicot Reg Ponsonby: Bill Pertwee Hanson: Anthony Sagar The Surveyor: Peter Stephens Gladys: Amanda Murray The Minister: Nigel Graham Written by Peter Childs and Peter Matthews Produced by Alastair Scott Johnston
