1964 and Berlin is ready to celebrate the Fuhrer's 75th birthday. A rapprochement has been reached with the USA and the American president is due to arrive, as is King Edward VIII of the UK. Against this background, Berlin detective Xavier March is called in to investigate the death of an elderly Nazi. He finds himself engulfed in a mystery at the heart of the Nazi regime, which could end his life and bring the regime to its knees.
