The swashbuckling adventures of Tintin, the intrepid investigative reporter, based on the classic comic series. The young adventurer is aided by his faithful dog Snowy and his friend the brash Captain Haddock, and sometimes hindered by incompetent detectives Thomson and Thompson.

The character was created in 1929 by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who used the pen name Herg?. Tintin was introduced in Le Petit Vingti?me, a weekly youth supplement to the Belgian newspaper Le Vingti?me Si?cle. A young man with a round face and quiff hairstyle, Tintin is depicted as a precocious, multi-talented reporter who travels the world accompanied by Snowy. Subsequent to the original comic series, Tintin has appeared in numerous plays, radio shows, television shows and feature films.

'The Adventures of Tintin' was a radio series broadcast by BBC Radio 5 in 1992 and 1993. Twelve thirty-minute episodes were broadcast over two series followed by a special fifty-minute Christmas episode.
