Here's something a bit different, a somewhat forgotten audiobook version of Tarka the Otter by Henry Williamson, read by no other than Sir David Attenborough. It was available for a certain time on YouTube, but the audio quality was not the best and sounded like the tape player used to transfer it had issues. I ordered theses cassette tapes to hopefully provide a better version of it. The four tapes were transferred and managed to get a surprisingly clean audio from them. I then edited into a single audio file and I performed some digital noise reduction and de-clipping on the recording. I think the result came out quite good.


You will find the high res scans of the cover/tape insert, the direct audio transfer of the two tapes along a restored version I cleaned a bit with noise-reduction and de-clipping, edited for a single audio file that carry the whole duration of the tapes.
